Locally owned and operated, Downright Carpentry has been servicing the building and restoration needs of the Mount Isa community for more than 30 years. Owner and experienced builder Gerald Lavell, believes in supporting the Mount Isa community by hiring local tradespeople and businesses for some of the projects he undertakes.

Downright Carpentry has built a large clientele base within Mount Isa and the surrounding remote regional areas. This is due to his superior workmanship and quality products made from BlueScope steel, including the Lysaght and Aus-Steel brands.
